A visit to the Van Gogh Museum is a unique experience. The museum contains the largest collection of paintings by Vincent van Gogh in the world. It provides the opportunity to keep track of the artist’s developments, or compare his paintings to works by other artists from the 19th century in the collection. The museum also holds an extensive offer of exhibitions on various subjects from 19th-century art history.

Guided walking tour: Highlights of Vincent (50 minutes)

A tour about Van Gogh’ artistic development. From the dark Brabant works, to Paris when he came into contact with contemporary artists, and finally the famous late works that he produced in France.

Every Friday the Van Gogh Museum is open until 10 pm with a packed programme. Did you know that every first Friday of the month the museum organizes a grand event? The other Friday Nights are designed a bit smaller with a DJ, VJ, cocktail bar, free guided tours and the return of one of the acts of the first night.
