Van Gogh Europe’s role is to influence buyers in the travel trade and business tourism sectors to achieve the goal of bringing more tourists to the Van Gogh destinations. Our work involves establishing and maintaining relationships with individuals and companies who currently include Van Gogh destinations in their programmes, or who have the potential to include Van Gogh destinations in the future.
Van Gogh Europe will focus the majority of its global marketing resources on markets which represent the greatest potential for tourism growth for the Van Gogh destinations.

All Van Gogh Europe destinations are involved in consumer marketing at regional, national and international levels. The Van Gogh Europe destinations are working closely with the tourism industry. Primary unit marketing techniques include trade show exhibits, sales calls and missions, direct mailings, advertising and hosting educational familiarization tours. The Leisure Travel Trade and Business Tourism sectors are being targeted, including tour operators, travel agents, coach operators, professional conference organisers and destination and event management companies.
